1. Enter the gallons of water in the pool. 2. Enter your TA and Borate level. This is only used for the pH calculations. 3. Adjust the PPM boxes to the ppm you want to figure. It is the white box in column 4. 4. Enter the price in column 2 and enter the amount in column 3. If the value is less than 1, enter 0.5 instead of .5. The number in column 4 is the cost per selected ppm. 5. Click on the amount in column 5 to show the weight or volume conversions.
Note: Some chemicals require adjusting to get the real cost. Click "What's This?" and read the information beforehand. Note: Click the chemicals name to show a list of different brands. Note: Some of the chemicals are duplicated in different sections. If you change the price, etc in one, it will automatically change it in the other one. Note: Always look up the MSDS sheet for your product. Sometimes the percentage can be low and sometimes there are added chemicals such as clarifiers, algaecides, copper and borates. Note: Some chemicals are not required to be listed in an MSDS sheet. Click Tools/MSDS Info for some helpful information.
